Perfect Combo = Eco-running + BioBags!!!

I recently received an email from Beth Terry @ Fake Plastic Fish - http://www.fakeplasticfish.com/ - about biodegradable plastic bag products known as BioBags. Needless to say, I was intrigued. Beth's website intends educate/inspire its readers to, "eliminate unnecessary plastic, dramatically reduce our plastic waste, and live responsibly with the kinds of plastic that do have real benefits." An excellent cause; especially at this day in age when environmentally sustainable alternatives to plastic are taking a backseat to its relative ease and disposible nature. Until four days ago, I had been using your typical off-the-shelf, store brands with little idea of their detrimental impact on our environment. Today, I am a changed man!

I researched BioBags at their website and was instantly hooked! BioBags are "certified compostable and biodegradable according to several international standards...," and is probably the only "environmentally acceptable carrier bag" on the market today. They are made from renewable resources; user friendly and hygenic; made according to the highest industry quality standards; and will reduce waste and health risks. All positive aspects for its users and the environment! Please visit their website to read more. I guarentee you will be impressed.

BioBags are now Eco-Runner endorsed as my essential and only 'go-to' trash bag for eco-running. They fit perfectly into the Eco-Runner philosophy - an eco-conscious, sustainable, environmentally/user-friendly bag. And...the carrier bags are complete with a handle and/or griphole, and available in a variety of sizes (30,20, and small 10 liter sizes). You can purchase BioBags online at their homepage, or do a search and locate another eco-site with BioBag availability. Many thanks to Beth @ FakePlasticFish, and the great people @ BioBags, for their environmental awareness and support for a cleaner, healthier world. Cheers, all! Run 4 more!

Here here! And before ordering them online, folks can check to see if they are available locally. Here in the San Francisco East Bay, I can buy the 3-gallon kitchen bags at Whole Foods, Berkeley Bowl, and Elephant Pharmacy, just to name a few places. I don't know if any stores carry the handle bags though, so those may have to be ordered.

Well Fake Plastic Fish endorses EcoRunning and will post about it as soon as she has time this week!

Cheers!
