Motivational Monday | Pre-Christmas Joy
It’s Motivational Monday again, and we’re definitely in need of some motivation this time of year. Christmas is coming fast! Eek! We’re still finishing up the last of our preparations, made cookies yesterday, and finishing up last minute stuff at work.
I keep thinking how there’s still time to get a head start on my resolutions. I’ve been fighting back and forth between the urge to “phone it in” for the rest of the year, and start everything January 1st, or to actually start getting things done now!
It’s been particularly cold here in Wisconsin, and even though the snow is gorgeous, the weather’s pretty uninviting. I can’t help but feel like I haven’t been outside for weeks. We’re definitely in cookie-eating, hibernation mode. I’m ready to snap out of it!
As we get close to the holidays I know it’s good for my mental health to keep moving. It keeps my mood up, and keeps me healthy and happy. I often get the winter-blahs if I don’t get some exercise, so I’m ready to get up and fight it!
Need some holiday inspiration, check out our post on How to have a Green Christmas, and a few ways you can make your holiday eco-friendly. Check out our review on the Best Store-Bought Vegan Cookies because sometimes we all need some sweetness to get us through the holidays.
If you’re looking for ways to beat the winter blahs, working out helps. Working out also helps fend off colds, and sickness than can be tough to deal with this time of year. Stay upbeat and optimistic–it can even help you live longer.
Do you have a resolution to be more clean and green in 2017? There are a few things to consider. Are your cleaning products safe? If you’re looking for some eco-friendly (and budget-friendly) cleaners, check out our guide to Green Cleaning.
If you’re looking for some Eco-Inspo check out these pictures of 30 Years of Human Impact on the Earth, and these pictures of Okinowa’s hermit crabs actually living in trash houses. There’s no doubt the earth needs our effort and help!
Stay green and enjoy the holidays!
